NaanDan sprinklers and micro-irrigation nozzles

Here you will find NaanDan sprinklers and micro-sprinklers: small-bore emitters for planted areas, greenhouse benches, nursery beds and the landscaped surroundings of a pool or terrace, plus a full-circle brass impact sprinkler for larger open ground. The range is built around two families — the Flipper micro-sprinkler and the Hadar 7110 inverted micro-sprinkler — supplied in a graded set of nozzle sizes so that a single layout can be tuned to the plants, the spacing and the pressure actually available at the line.

Because these are consumable, field-mounted parts, they are usually bought as replacements rather than as a first installation. Nozzles block, swivels wear, UV and fertiliser residue take their toll, and a single wrong nozzle size in a row will show up as a wet or dry patch long before anything fails outright. Identifying the correct size and the correct connection is therefore the whole job.

What the range covers

The products listed on this page fall into a few clear groups:

  • Hadar 7110 inverted micro-sprinklers — 360° emitters on a bayonet male connection, offered from 1.0 mm up to 2.0 mm nozzle size, including 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8 mm.
  • Flipper micro-sprinklers — 180° part-circle emitters with a taper female connection, in 0.68, 0.82 and 0.94 mm nozzle sizes.
  • Impact sprinkler 233B — a full-circle brass sprinkler with a 3/4″ connection and a 4.0 × 2.5 mm nozzle arrangement, for larger areas than micro-irrigation can cover.
  • Mounting hardware — a Flipper plastic mounting device with a taper male connection on one side and a 4/7 mm push-in fitting on the other, rated 3 bar.

Nozzle sizes and colour coding

NaanDan micro-sprinklers are colour coded by nozzle size, which is the quickest way to audit an existing installation without dismantling it. On the Hadar 7110 inverted series the colours seen in this range run purple for 1.0 mm, red for 1.1 mm, orange for 1.2 mm, green for 1.3 mm and yellow for 1.6 mm. On the 180° Flipper, brown corresponds to 0.94 mm, violet to 0.82 mm and black to 0.68 mm.

Nozzle size governs both throughput and wetted diameter, so mixing sizes within one lateral gives uneven coverage. If the original emitters have faded in sunlight and the colour is no longer reliable, take one unit off the line, clean it and read the moulded marking, or measure the orifice with a pin gauge before ordering a full set. When replacing only some heads, match the size already in use rather than the size you think the layout should have.

Connections, 180° versus 360° and mounting

Two connection types appear here and they are not interchangeable. The Hadar 7110 inverted units use a bayonet male fitting and hang downwards, which suits overhead lines above benches or beds. The Flipper units use a taper female fitting and are normally mounted upright on a stake or support; the plastic mounting device bridges taper male to 4/7 mm micro-tube, which is the standard feed size for this class of emitter.

Choose the arc to match the shape of the area. A 360° head placed near a wall, a path or the coping around a pool will throw water where it is not wanted; the 180° Flipper is the sensible choice along edges and borders. Full circles belong in the middle of a bed, spaced so that adjacent patterns overlap.

Choosing and replacing the right part

  • Check the connection first — bayonet male or taper female decides which family you can fit at all.
  • Match nozzle size exactly across each lateral, using the colour or the moulded marking.
  • Confirm the arc — 180° for edges and ends of rows, 360° for open ground.
  • Note the feed tube — 4/7 mm micro-tube requires the matching push-in mounting device.
  • Respect the stated pressure limit of accessories such as the 3 bar mounting device.

Stocked here are the Hadar 7110 inverted micro-sprinklers across their nozzle range, the 180° Flipper nozzles, the 233B brass impact sprinkler and the Flipper mounting device, so a damaged head or a whole row can be renewed with identical parts rather than approximations.

Each listing names the nozzle size, arc, colour and connection, and carries the article number, which is the fastest way to reorder exactly what is already installed. If the original emitter is faded or unmarked, compare the orifice and the fitting against the details given before choosing.
