Microdos dosing pump parts and spares

Microdos peristaltic dosing pumps are used to inject pH correction and chlorine-based products into pool water from a chemical tank, driven by a rotor that squeezes a flexible tube rather than by a piston or diaphragm. Because the tube itself is the only part in contact with the liquid, these pumps are simple to service — provided the right wear parts are to hand. Here you will find tubes, roller holders, pump heads, seals, probes, injection valves and the small electrical and mechanical components that keep an existing installation running instead of forcing a full replacement.

Which models the parts on this page cover

The spares listed here relate to the dosing pumps and controllers most often found on domestic and light commercial pools, including the compact MP2 peristaltic pump, the Micro Up and Maxi Up units, and Ultrados. Several components are shared between families — the housing body seal 00.027.047, for example, is listed for Micro Up, Maxi Up and Ultrados, and the rear housing cover 00.010.207 serves both Ultrados and Micro Up. Others are model-specific, such as the complete roller holder for the MP2 in Ø13.6 mm and the Santoprene tube with fittings made for the black MP2 in the 1.5 to 12 L/h flow band.

Typical categories in the range:

  • Peristaltic tubes — including Ø4×7 mm, 155 mm long with fittings for Ø4×6 mm hose, and Ø10 mm, 180 mm Santoprene tubes with fittings.
  • Roller holders and pump heads — complete roll holders in Ø13.6 mm and pump head covers such as 00.010.326.
  • Hydraulic fittings — injection check valves in 1/2″ with 4×6 mm connection and gasket, reference 11.100.450.
  • Measurement — pH probes, for example 00.043.020, and BNC-type connectors with cable tails.
  • Electrical and motor parts — control boards, geared motors such as the Ø6 shaft 230 V 20 RPM unit 11.002.434 with 57.2 mm flange, on-off rocker switches rated 250 V 6 A, and cable glands with M12x1.5 nuts.
  • Housings and fasteners — pump housings, rear covers, body seals, mounting bracket kits and Phillips pan head screws in 3.5×10 mm and 3.5×16 mm.

What wears out first

On any peristaltic pump the tube is the consumable. It is compressed thousands of times per hour and eventually hardens, flattens or splits, which shows up as reduced dosing, air in the line or leakage inside the pump head. Replacing it on schedule is cheaper than waiting for a failure that lets chemical into the housing. The rollers and the holder that carries them are the second item to check: if a roller no longer turns freely, it drags on the tube and shortens its life dramatically, so a complete roll holder is often fitted at the same time as a new tube.

Downstream, the injection check valve is exposed to concentrated product and can calcify or stick open, allowing pool water to push back up the hose. Its gasket should be inspected whenever the tube is changed. pH probes are also a service item — they age, respond more slowly and drift out of calibration over time, and a probe that can no longer be calibrated needs replacing rather than adjusting.

Identifying the correct part before ordering

Microdos parts carry numeric references in the 00.xxx.xxx and 11.xxx.xxx format, and these are the most reliable way to order. The number is often shown on the exploded view in the pump manual, alongside a position number for each component. Where no reference is available, work from measurements.

  • Tubes — note the internal and external diameter (for example 4×6 mm or 4×7 mm), the overall length, whether fittings are already crimped on, and the flow rate marked on the pump label.
  • Roller holders — check the diameter stamped or measured across the roller set; Ø13.6 mm holders are listed for MP2 and are not interchangeable with other head sizes.
  • Seals and covers — compare the housing shape and the screw pattern, and measure a seal across its outer diameter and section before ordering.
  • Motors — match voltage, shaft diameter, flange dimension and the RPM figure, as speed determines dosing output.
  • Screws and glands — the thread and length matter more than the appearance; M12x1.5 glands and 3.5 mm screws are common across several housings.

Here we list the wear parts and service components for Microdos dosing equipment side by side, from the tube and roller set right through to control boards, housings, probes and the fasteners that are easily lost during a rebuild. Where a reference number is known it is shown in the product title, so an item can be matched directly against a manual or against the part already removed from the pump.

Keeping these spares available means a dosing pump that has stopped feeding can usually be brought back into service with a tube, a roller holder and a gasket instead of a new unit. For installers and pool managers across Europe, that also makes it practical to hold a small stock of consumables for the start of each season.
