Ondilo – Spa In Line Connected Water Analyser

The Ondilo Spa in line is a connected hot tub water analyser that monitors your spa’s water quality through a mains-connected control box, a manifold and three sensors fitted to the filtration circuit. It gives the same kind of monitoring as the wireless Ico Spa V2, but without placing a device in the water, which suits owners who prefer a discreet installation or manage several rental spas.

Compatibility and water treatments

The Spa in line spa water analyser works with spas treated with chlorine or bromine, and with salt water chlorinators. It is not compatible with active oxygen treatments, so check how your spa is treated before ordering.

Water flow through the manifold must be between 4.5 m³/h and 16 m³/h.

What is included in the Spa in line kit

The kit contains everything needed to analyse the water, apart from the valves:

• Control box, connected to the control system via an LPV-20-5 transformer
• 1.5-inch manifold with 3 sensor outputs
• Conductivity (salt/TDS) sensor, black
• pH sensor, blue
• ORP/Redox (disinfection) sensor, red

Two slice valves for 1.5-inch pipes are required for installation in the filter circuit but are not supplied. The Uni-Body slice valve 1.5″ F/F is one option to consider.

Installation and connection

The manifold and its three measurement sensors are mounted on the spa’s filtration circuit, between the skimmer and the circulation pump. The control box is fixed to the spa frame, under the skirt, at a maximum of 60 cm from the manifold.

It needs an independent 230 V power supply or a 230 V socket on your control system. Once it is powered, download the free app from Google Play or the App Store. Keep the QR code from the box lid, as it is used when setting up the app.

The box connects to the internet over Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), either directly to your internet box or through a Wi-Fi repeater (not provided). Nearby connection uses Bluetooth BLE 4.0 or later.

Sensors, replacement and calibration

All three sensors are removable and replaceable. If one needs changing, separate kits are available for the Ondilo Spa in line pH sensor kit and the Ondilo Spa in line ORP / Redox sensor kit. A Ondilo Spa in line sensor calibration kit is also listed separately.
