Ondilo – ICO Redox Sensor for Salt Water Spas and Pools

This Ondilo ICO Redox (ORP) sensor is a replacement part for Ondilo ICO Spa and ICO Pool connected water analysers used in spas and pools treated with a salt water electrolysis system. It is the salt water version, so it is not the same as the standard Ondilo ICO Redox sensor. The pack also includes the items needed to calibrate the new sensor.

Compatibility: ICO Spa, ICO Pool and salt water

This hot tub Redox sensor is meant for Ondilo ICO Spa v2 Essential+ and Ondilo ICO Pool v2 Essential+ analysers working in mildly salty water, as part of a salt water electrolysis system.

It is also a spare part for BWT Pearl Water Manager and Wellis W.I.S. connected water analysers. You can recognise it by its yellow colour.

The sensor measures ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential), which is a close equivalent for the level of free chlorine or bromine in the water.

What is included with the Redox sensor

Besides the sensor itself, the pack contains:

• 1 ORP 470 mV buffer solution
• 1 ICO calibration stand
• 1 calibration and sensor replacement guide
• 1 free ORP calibration kit

The protection cap is supplied with the sensor.

Fitting and dimensions

The sensor uses the Twist & Lock system, so it is easy to swap with the Ondilo sensor replacement tool. The tool is not part of this pack.

The sensor is 95 mm long.

Ondilo recommends cleaning the 3 sensors once a month. Take the ICO out of the water, remove the protection hood and wipe the sensors with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Then refit the hood and put the ICO back into your hot tub.

Calibration, documentation and support

After the first season, recalibrate the sensors each time you restart your pool or spa, or every 6 months if you do not winterise, or whenever you notice drift in the readings. An ICO sensor calibration kit is also available separately.
