Aqua-Flo – Flo-Master XP2e Two-Speed Spa Pump, 1.5 HP and 2 HP – 1.5 HP

The Aqua-Flo Flo-Master XP2e is a two-speed spa pump made by Gecko, available as a 1.5 HP (05320010-6340) or 2 HP (05340004-6340) replacement hot tub pump. It has the same dimensions as its predecessor, the XP2, so it is a straightforward like-for-like choice when you replace an XP2. Low speed is used for circulation and heating, high speed for the massage jets.

Flo-Master XP2e power ratings and speeds

This pump is a two-speed model. Low speed handles circulation and heating, while high speed runs the massage jets. Two power ratings can be selected on this page:

• 1.5 HP: 1.5 kW on high speed, 0.36 kW on low speed
• 2.0 HP: 1.9 kW on high speed, 0.4 kW on low speed

The 2.5 HP version (05351009-6040) is no longer made by Gecko. It has been replaced by the Maelstrom MS-1. Marquis Spa uses the number 630-6122 for the 2 HP version.

Wet end orientation and plug types

The XP2e pump is offered with different wet end orientations and plug types:

• Wet end orientation: standard exit, exit to left or exit to right
• Plug types: AMP plug, J&J plug or in.link plug

The pump is supplied either without plug and cable, or with an AMP plug. If your installation uses a mini J&J plug, select the AMP plug option and use an adapter from AMP to mini J&J (sold separately). Alternatively, reuse the cable from your existing pump if it is in good condition.

Dimensions and plumbing connections

The pump measures 390 mm in length, 245 mm in height and 200 mm in width, the same as the XP2.

The plumbing connections are a 2-inch MBT thread with an outside diameter of 78 mm, suitable for 2-inch pipes. Connectors are available as an optional extra.

How to choose the right pump

Check the power rating and part number on the pump you are replacing, then select 1.5 HP or 2.0 HP accordingly. Also note the wet end orientation and the plug type of your current pump, so the new unit connects to your plumbing and wiring without changes.
