LX Pump Co. – WP300-2/6 2-Speed Hot Tub Pump 2.2 kW (3HP)

The LX Whirlpool WP300-2/6 is a two-speed hot tub pump from the new generation of WP series spa pumps, rated at 2.2 kW (3HP) on high speed. Its lower low-speed setting suits spa filtration and heating, so the water circulates with reduced power consumption. Other pumps in the series differ mainly in motor power.

Speeds and performance of the WP300-2/6 spa pump

On low speed the pump draws 0.22 kW, which is intended for the filtration and heating cycles. High speed is used to run the massage jets and provides the flow rate needed for hydrotherapy.

• Maximum flow rate: 730 litres/minute

Dimensions and pipe connections

The pump measures 432 mm long, 237 mm wide and 237 mm high. Both the intake and the outflow have a male thread with a 78 mm outside diameter.

The pump is supplied with unions and gaskets for 2-inch pipes (diameter 60 mm), so it can be connected to 2-inch flexible pipe.

Cable, plug and wet end orientation

The WP300-2/6 is available pre-cabled with an AMP plug on a 130 cm cable. If your installation uses a mini J&J plug, you will need an adapter from AMP to mini J&J, sold separately, or you can reuse the cable from your existing pump if it is in good condition.

The wet end orientation can be chosen to suit your cabinet:

• Standard exit
• Exit to left
• Exit to top left
• Exit to right
• Exit to top right

Choosing the right replacement pump

The same series also includes the WP200-2/6 and the LX Whirlpool WP250-2/6 2-speed pump, which have different motor powers.

The WP300-II and the Koller 3 HP pump are similar models with roughly comparable dimensions. If you swap to a different model, check the available space and the fixing distances first, as adjustments to the pipe connections may be necessary.
