Koller – 3,5 HP Two-Speed Hot Tub Pump 2,6 kW

The Koller 3,5 HP two-speed pump (part number 240 4644A) is a 2,6 kW replacement hot tub and spa pump found in many spas of European brands. The slow speed handles filtration and heating, while the fast speed runs the massage jets. It is supplied pre-cabled with an AMP plug, which sets it apart from pumps that need a different plug.

Two speeds for filtration and massage

This two-speed spa pump is used on spas where one pump covers both daily circulation and the massage jets. The low speed is used for filtration and heating, and the high speed is for the jets.

Connections, cable and plug

Outflow and intake are male threaded with a 78 mm outside diameter (2-inch MBT). The pump is normally connected to a 2-inch pipe. The pump unions are not included, but they are available separately.

The Koller 3,5 HP pump is delivered pre-cabled with an AMP plug, with a cable length of 3 m. If your installation uses a mini J&J plug, you will need an adapter from AMP to mini J&J (sold separately). Alternatively, you can reuse the cable from your existing pump if it is in good condition.

The drain plug slots on Koller pumps are factory sealed. To create a drain point, you will have to drill out one of the slots and buy a drain plug separately.

The same Koller two-speed series also includes the 2 HP and 2,5 HP versions. Single-speed Koller models are available as 2 HP, 2.5 HP and 3 HP.

The LX Whirlpool WP300-II pump has the same motor power and thread size as this Koller pump, with roughly similar dimensions. If you replace your pump with another model, check the available space and the fixing distances first, as pipe connection adjustments may be necessary.
