Balboa – 10-Inch Spa Heater 2 kW / 3 kW for GS100 and BP200 UX – 2 kW

This Balboa 10-inch spa heater is a replacement hot tub heater for the Balboa GS100 control system and the Balboa BP200 UX control system. It is available as a 2 kW heater (58201-01) or a 3 kW heater (58202-01).

It comes with fittings for 1.5-inch pipework, which is the key difference to the longer 15-inch heater that connects to 2-inch pipes.

Compatibility and power ratings

This hot tub heater is compatible with the Balboa GS100 and BP200 UX control systems. Choose the power rating that matches the heater you are replacing:

• 2 kW: Balboa part number 58201-01
• 3 kW: Balboa part number 58202-01

Both versions have the same 10-inch format and the same pipe connections.

How to choose the right heater

Before ordering, check two things on your current heater: the power rating and the pipe size. This heater is made for 1.5-inch pipes. If your spa uses 2-inch pipes, you need the 15-inch GS100-compatible heater instead.

Fitting and dimensions

• Inside diameter of the unions: 48 mm, for 1.5-inch pipes
• Power cable length: 85 cm
• Sensor cable length: 88 cm

Check that the cable lengths are suitable for the position of the heater in your equipment compartment.

What is included

The heater is supplied with the fittings needed for 1.5-inch pipe size:

• gaskets

This means you can connect the replacement heater to 1.5-inch pipework without sourcing the unions separately.
