This Ultra 9000 blower motor is a replacement motor for most Ultra 9000 hot tub air blowers, supplied under part number 1.0220BLR in the 1.0 HP version. It is also available as 1.5 HP (1.5220BLR) and 2.0 HP (2.0220BLR). Please note that it does not fit every Ultra 9000, because some models built before and during 2014 use a different motor.

Compatibility of the Ultra 9000 blower motor

This motor fits most Ultra 9000 blowers. The manufacturer fitted a different motor to some blowers built before and during 2014, and this replacement is not compatible with the newer version of the blower that uses the shorter motor.

How to check which version of blower you have

If you are not sure whether your blower is the version from before or after 2014, and the blower is dead, you can check in two ways:

• Look for the words “Date of Mfg.” on the blower label. A date of “07/12”, for example, means July 2012.
• Take the blower apart, which is very easy, and compare the size of your motor with this replacement. A motor of around 140 mm is the right match. If yours is about 130 mm, it is the newer blower version and this motor will not be compatible.
