Waterway – Metric Threaded Retainer Ring for Gunite Jets

The Waterway 219-1087 is a metric threaded retainer ring for Waterway Poly Jet and Poly Storm Gunite jets in concrete spas. It screws onto the bottom of a straight Gunite socket and takes a 32 mm rigid pipe. This is the new-style ring, and the o-ring is not included.

Compatibility with Waterway Gunite jets

This threaded retainer ring is part of the metric versions of the Waterway Poly Jet and Poly Storm Gunite jets. These jets are designed for concrete spas, so the ring is not intended for other types of installation.

Fitting and connection

The retainer ring is screwed to the bottom of a straight Gunite socket. A 32 mm pipe is then glued inside the ring. Only rigid pipe can be used here, for example 32 mm rigid PVC pipe.

Once the ring is in place, you can connect the following:

• a Poly Jet wall fitting;
• a Waterway Poly Storm Gunite wall fitting, using an adapter such as the 1″ F to 32 mm F adapter together with a 1-inch pipe.

Dimensions

Check these measurements against your installation before ordering:

• Inside diameter: 32 mm, for 32 mm pipe
• Thread diameter: 40 mm

Sold separately: the o-ring

When replacing the ring, it is a good moment to check the condition of the existing o-ring as well, so that you have both parts ready before you start work on the socket.
