Waterway – 1″ M/F Manifold with 8 Ports for 3/8″ Pipes

This Waterway 672-4340 hot tub manifold is a replacement ABS manifold with a 1-inch male and 1-inch female inlet and eight ribbed outlets for 3/8-inch pipes. It connects the pump pipes to the water or air jet pipes of your spa, and it belongs to Waterway’s “Smart Plumb” range.

What this 1-inch spa manifold does

A manifold splits one larger pipe into several smaller ones. This Waterway part takes the 1-inch pipework coming from the pump and divides it into eight separate outlets, so that the water or air jet pipes can each be connected to their own port.

The body is made of ABS. The eight outlets are ribbed, which gives the smaller pipes a firm surface to grip when they are pushed on.

Check these measurements against the manifold you are replacing:

• Inlet: 1-inch male and 1-inch female
• Inlet inside diameter: 33 mm (1-inch)
• Inlet outside diameter: 33 mm (1-inch)

How to choose the right manifold

Before ordering a replacement manifold, compare it with the part currently fitted in your hot tub. Look at the inlet size and type (male and female), the number of outlets and the size of the pipes connected to them. This version has eight outlets for 3/8-inch pipes and a 1-inch inlet.

The Waterway part number is 672-4340. If your existing manifold has a different number of ports or a different pipe size, it is not the same part.

Unused outlets

You do not have to use all eight ports. Outlets that are not needed can be closed off with plugs, which are sold separately. This makes the Smart Plumb manifold flexible when your plumbing layout needs fewer than eight connections.
