US Seal Mfg. – PS-1000 Pump Wet End Seal for Waterway and HydroAir Pumps

The US Seal PS-1000 is a replacement hot tub pump wet end seal, also listed as Waterway 319-3100B and Sta-Rite U109-136SS. It keeps water from leaking out of the pump wet end along the motor spindle, and it suits a wide range of Waterway, HydroAir and Acura pumps. It is a two-part seal: one part mounts on the wet end and the other slots in behind the impeller.

How the two-part seal is fitted

The PS-1000 comes as two parts. One part mounts on the wet end, in the centre of the product photo. The other slots in behind the impeller, on the right of the photo. Together they close the gap around the motor spindle so water stays in the wet end.

Sealing tips: silicone or O-ring

For a better seal at the steel collar, adding a silicone gasket or an O-ring is recommended.

Some wet end pumps are supplied with seals that include an additional O-ring. This replacement seal is delivered without an O-ring. When replacing the wet end seal, add silicone to the bottom of the wet end pump to make sure it seals correctly.
