Description
The Sta-Rite 5P6R is one of the most widely-installed self-priming pool filtration pumps across European residential and light-commercial pools — a workhorse from the Pentair Swimtec family, rated at 2 HP / 1.5 kW with a choice of single-phase or three-phase drive. On this page you’ll find the complete exploded view of the pump plus every spare part it takes, from motor blocks and impellers down to the last diffuser o-ring and drain-plug seal.
Use the numbered exploded-view diagram below to identify the exact position you need to replace: find the callout number in the drawing, then click the matching part in the list underneath to see specifications, price and stock. Every part on this page is a genuine Sta-Rite / Pentair OEM reference — no aftermarket substitutes, no dimensional guesswork. Salt-water pool owners: check the part description for the eau salée / salt-water spec before ordering, since some seal-plate and diffuser variants are corrosion-hardened versions of the standard part.
Not sure which part is failing? The three most common Sta-Rite 5P6R service issues are (1) a weeping seal plate — replace the seal-plate kit with mechanical seal + gasket; (2) a slow prime or loss of flow rate at the returns — inspect the diffuser + impeller wear ring; and (3) a hum without start — almost always a failed run capacitor inside the motor block. When in doubt, order the full seal kit at your next service window — it’s cheaper than opening the pump twice.
