SPEARS – 90° Elbow 1/2-inch Male/Female White ABS

The Spears 44888 is a 90° (right-angle) 1/2-inch elbow with one male end and one female end. It is a replacement pipe fitting for turning a 1/2-inch line through a right angle, and it is made of white ABS.

Connection ends of the 90° elbow

This elbow is not symmetrical, so it is important to know which end goes where. One end is male and the other is female, and each one connects to a different part of your pipework.

• Male end (spigot): fits into a 1/2-inch female fitting.
• Female end (socket): takes a 1/2-inch pipe, which is inserted into it.

Because of this arrangement, the elbow can join a length of 1/2-inch pipe directly to a 1/2-inch female fitting while changing direction by 90°.
