SpaNet – SV3-VH Spa Control System with 5.25 kW Variable Heater

The SpaNet SV3-VH (also sold as the PowerSMART SV3) is a complete hot tub control system with a built-in 5.25 kW intelligent variable heater. It works with the SV-3T keypad and the other SV-series keypads, as well as the SmartTouch control panel. Its dedicated heat pump interface sets it apart from a basic spa control box.

SV3-VH compatibility and control

This replacement spa control system is compatible with the SV-2T, SV-3T and SV-4T keypads and with the SmartTouch. You can also operate it remotely from an Android smartphone, or from an iPhone or iPad using the SmartLink WiFi module.

SpaNet control systems are found in Monarch, O2 Spas, Vortex, Oasis and Sapphire Spas, among others.

What the SV3-VH can run

Along with the 5.25 kW heater built into the box, the SV3-VH can handle up to:

• One circulation pump
• Three single-speed pumps, or one two-speed pump and one single-speed pump
• A blower
• An ozonator
• LED lighting
• A sound system

Heat pump interface and power supply

The SV3-VH has a dedicated interface for connecting a heat pump, suited to heating spas and swim spas all year round. Once connected, the SV controller detects the pump automatically and regulates its functions, and no additional electrical circuitry is needed. SpaNet states that this can cut energy consumption by up to 75% compared with electric heaters.

The system is delivered pre-configured for a single-phase power supply. It can also be configured for two-phase or three-phase supply, which spreads the various units across the phases. Fitting and dimensions

Each device (pump, ozonator, lighting and so on) connects to the box with AMP plugs. The heater connects to 2 inch pipes, and clamping rings and gaskets are supplied.
