Spa-Plus – Weathershield Care Spa Cover Cleaner 500 ml

SpaLine Weathershield Care (PRI-SPWCC1) is a 500 ml spa cover cleaner made for cleaning and maintaining hot tub covers in UV-resistant polyester fabric. It is designed for Weathershield covers, but can also be used on ProLast, Sunstrong, Duralast and Patio Performance covers and on outdoor fabrics such as Sunbrella and Florida.

Which covers is Weathershield Care for?

This hot tub cover cleaner is specially designed for spa covers made of UV-resistant polyester fabric, which is the material used for Weathershield covers. According to the manufacturer, it can also be used on the following:

• ProLast covers
• Sunstrong covers
• Duralast covers
• Patio Performance covers
• Outdoor fabrics such as Sunbrella and Florida

How to use Weathershield Care

The cleaner is diluted in lukewarm water before use. Follow these steps:

• Add 100 ml of Spa Weathershield Care to 5 litres of lukewarm water.
• Clean the fabric with a soft-bristled brush.
• Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
• Leave the cover to air dry.

A 500 ml bottle therefore provides five 100 ml doses for mixing with 5 litres of water each.

A Weathershield cover is lighter than a conventional vinyl cover. It offers greater resistance to UV rays, water and mildew, and it reduces the risk of the shrinking or stretching that occurs naturally with vinyl. Regular cleaning with a product made for this fabric helps you look after the cover you already have.
