Poolex – Floating Wireless Pool Thermometer with Remote Display

The Poolex floating pool thermometer lets you check your water temperature from indoors. A wireless floating sensor sends readings to a remote display over a range of up to 90 m in open area.

The IPX7 waterproof sensor measures water and air temperature, and the display adds outdoor temperature and humidity, so one small unit covers the basics for any pool owner.

This wireless pool thermometer has two parts: a floating sensor that sits on the surface of the water and a remote display that stays in your home. The ergonomic floating design is intended to give a reliable reading, and the compact sensor is discreet and needs no complicated installation.

How the remote display works

The floating sensor has a water temperature probe in its underwater part and an air temperature sensor on its upper part. It measures continuously and sends the data to the display, with a measurement delay of 10 seconds.

On the display you can see the water temperature, the outdoor temperature captured by the display itself, and the outdoor humidity. Buttons on the back let you switch the channel (CH/R), change between °C and °F and recall the MAX/MIN values. The display comes with a stand.

The 90 m range is given for open area and may be reduced by interference, so walls and other wireless devices can shorten it in practice.

Power and what is included

The package contains two elements: the floating wireless thermometer and the indoor remote display with its stand. Each unit runs on 2 x AA 1.5 V batteries, which are not included, so you will need four AA batteries in total.
