Maax Spas – Aqua Klean Filter Sock Basket for Maax and LA Spas

The Aqua Klean filter sock basket, part number FD-51320, is a replacement hot tub filter basket for the Aqua Klean filtration system fitted to hot tubs marketed by Maax Spas and LA Spas. It is the basket part of the assembly only, so the Aqua Klean filter sock is a separate item. Use this page to confirm the part number, thread size and height before you order.

Compatibility with Maax Spas and LA Spas hot tubs

This spa filter basket is part of the Aqua Klean filtration system, which is found on hot tubs marketed by Maax Spas and LA Spas. The part number to look for when you need a replacement is FD-51320.

The Aqua Klean filter lets water flow through with fewer restrictions, providing a flow rate of up to 150 gallons per minute.

Fitting and dimensions of the FD-51320 basket

Compare these measurements with the basket currently in your spa before ordering:

• Total height: 235 mm
• Maximum diameter: 135 mm
• Thread diameter: 3″ MPT (85 mm)

The 3″ MPT thread is the connection size for this basket, so make sure it matches the one on your existing part.

How to choose the right replacement basket

Start by checking that your hot tub uses the Aqua Klean filtration system and that it is a Maax Spas or LA Spas model. Then compare the reference FD-51320 with your current basket, along with its height, maximum diameter and thread size.

If the basket you are replacing differs in these details, it is a different part and this one is not the right choice.

What is sold separately

This page covers the filter sock basket on its own. Related Aqua Klean parts are offered as separate items, including the filter sock and the Aqua Klean filter basket o-ring. If you are renewing the filtration assembly, you can add these to your order alongside the basket.
