LX Pump Co. – Faceplate O-Ring for LX Whirlpool LP, WP, JA and TDA Pumps
The LX Whirlpool J-220 is a replacement faceplate o-ring for LX Whirlpool LP and WP pumps, as well as the JA150, JA200, TDA150 and TDA200 models. It is sold as a spare part for the pump faceplate, so you only need to replace the o-ring and not the whole pump.
Compatible pumps and faceplates
This hot tub pump o-ring is a spare part for several pump models made by LX Whirlpool. It fits the following faceplates:
- B168-01, used on JA150, JA200, TDA150 and TDA200 pumps
- B436-10(04), used on LP single-speed and WP two-speed pumps
- Other faceplates that use an o-ring with a diameter between 155 mm and 170 mm, such as the discontinued ITT Magnaflow
Check which faceplate is fitted to your pump before ordering, so that you choose the right replacement o-ring.
J-220 o-ring dimensions
Compare these measurements with your old o-ring or with the groove on your faceplate:
- Outside diameter: 159 mm
- Inside diameter: 152 mm
- Thickness: 3.5 mm
If your faceplate takes an o-ring with a diameter between 155 mm and 170 mm, the J-220 may also suit it, even if it is not one of the faceplates listed above.
Pumps with a B351-03 faceplate
If your LX Whirlpool pump has a B351-03 faceplate, the J-220 is not the recommended choice. In that case we advise using a slightly larger o-ring from another manufacturer: the Waterway 805-0261.
The faceplate reference is the quickest way to pick the correct part, so look at your pump before you place an order.
How to choose the right replacement o-ring
Start by identifying the pump type. The J-220 covers LX Whirlpool LP single-speed and WP two-speed pumps, plus the JA150, JA200, TDA150 and TDA200 models. Then confirm the faceplate number and, if you are unsure, measure the old o-ring against the dimensions given above.
An o-ring that is too small or too large for the faceplate will not match the original, so it is worth checking the size before fitting.
