The LumiPlus Transformer with Bluetooth is a Fluidra LumiPlus SELV transformer that steps mains 230V AC down to the safe 12V AC output required by LumiPlus pool lamps. It is a legally required safety component for any pool lighting installation in pool zone 0 or zone 1.
Safety & Compliance
European pool safety standards (EN 60598-2-18 and the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU) mandate SELV supply for submerged lighting. This transformer provides the required isolation between mains and pool circuits, protecting bathers from electric shock. It carries CE certification and complies with EN 61558.
Integrated Bluetooth Control
This model features built-in Bluetooth, enabling direct pairing with the Fluidra Pool app (iOS/Android) without an additional LumiPlus Connect Controller. Adjust scenes, brightness, and schedules from your smartphone within Bluetooth range (typically 10–15 m).
Installation
Housed in an IP44-rated enclosure for installation in a pool plant room or equipment cabinet. Primary: 230V AC; secondary: 12V AC. A thermal cut-out protects against overload. Wiring follows standard LumiPlus schematics. Total lamp wattage must not exceed the transformer’s rated output — size at least 20% above the sum of all connected lamps.
