Joyonway – WL02 Spa Water Level Sensor for Joyonway 17B Control Box

The Joyonway WL02 (also listed as 810016) is a replacement spa water level sensor for the Joyonway 17B control box. It is glued under the spa shell at the waterline and detects whether there is water in the tub. The sensor connects to the “W” terminal of the control box and has a red LED on the back that lights up when water is detected.

This hot tub water level sensor is designed for the Joyonway 17B control box. If you are replacing a sensor on a spa with this control box, the WL02 is the part to look for.

How the water level sensor works

The sensor is mounted under the spa shell at the waterline. From there it detects the presence or absence of water in the tub and passes this information to the control box.

A red LED on the back of the sensor lights up when water is detected. This gives you a simple visual indication of what the sensor is registering.
