HydroAir – HA440NG Single-Speed Spa Pump 1.5 HP

The HydroAir HA440NG (part numbers 1023063 and 1023065) is a single-speed hot tub pump used to run the massage jets in spas. It also operates on swimming pools. It replaces the older ITT HydroAir Magnaflow 440 single-speed pump, which is no longer manufactured, and it is used by many spa manufacturers.

Where the HydroAir HA440NG is used

The HA440NG is a popular HydroAir pump model. It is a single-speed pump, so it runs at one speed to supply the massage jets of your spa. It can also be used on swimming pools.

If you are looking for a replacement for an old Magnaflow 440, this is the current model. Because the older pump is no longer made, the HA440NG is the one to look for under part numbers 1023063 and 1023065.

Fitting the HA440NG: the wet end is larger than the motor

The newer HA440 models have a wet end that is larger than the motor, so the pump does not lie flat on its own. Depending on your installation, you will need to raise the motor part so that the pump sits completely straight and horizontal.

Check the space and support under your current pump before you order, so you can level the new one correctly.

Plug and cable: AMP plug and mini J&J installations

The HA440NG is available pre-wired with an AMP plug.

If your installation uses a mini J&J plug, you have two options:

• use an adapter from AMP to mini J&J (sold separately), or
• reuse the cable from your existing pump, provided it is in good condition.
