The HI7061M is a ready-to-use, general purpose cleaning solution specially formulated to restore pH and ORP electrodes to peak performance. Electrodes accumulate mineral deposits, impurities, and residue during routine use, leading to inaccurate readings even when a calibration buffer suggests otherwise. Regular use of this solution removes those contaminants and keeps the electrode bulb and junction free from clogging.

How it works

Simply immerse the electrode in the HI7061M solution for 30 minutes to 1.5 hours to dissolve mineral deposits and other general coatings. Its non-aggressive, specially formulated chemistry cleans effectively without damaging sensitive electrode surfaces. After soaking, rinse the electrode with tap water, then follow up with a Hanna storage or calibration buffer solution for best results.

Compatibility

This solution is suitable for a wide variety of pH and ORP electrodes used in pool, laboratory, and general-purpose applications. It is the ideal first-step cleaner for routine maintenance; for electrodes exposed to oils, greases, or heavy inorganic deposits, application-specific Hanna cleaning solutions may be more appropriate.
