Gecko – in.k1000+ Touch Screen Spa Keypad for X and Y Series
The Gecko in.k1000+ (part number 0607-005042) is a touch screen spa keypad and replacement hot tub control panel for selected Gecko X and Y series spa packs. Unlike conventional topside panels it has no physical buttons, keys or overlays, as everything is operated through a menu on a 4.3 in. colour display.
Compatibility with Gecko spa packs
The in.k1000+ works with the following Gecko systems, provided they have the appropriate software revision:
- in.xm2
- in.xe
- in.yj-3-V3
- in.ye-3
- in.ye-3-V3
- in.ye-5
- in.yt-7
- in.yt-8
This keypad replaces the earlier part numbers 0607-005033 and 0607-005024.
Touch screen and functions
The display is a 4.3 in. 256K colour LCD with a capacitive touch screen, driven by a 400 MHz processor. Navigation is through an intuitive menu interface rather than a set of fixed keys.
Firmware and software updates can be downloaded directly from the keypad.
Swim spa training and pump control
The in.k1000+ can control multiple 2 speed pumps and synchronise their jets, giving the range of water stream strengths a swimmer needs for serious training.
It is particularly recommended for swim spas because of its dedicated swim spa training program. Training sessions can be customised on the keypad by setting flow intensities, durations and colour indicators.

The keypad can operate a wide range of Gecko accessories and peripherals:
- in.stream and in.stream 2 audio streaming stations
- in.clear water purification system
- in.mix underwater colour lighting
Dimensions and documentation
The keypad measures 190 x 131 mm and needs a cut-out area of 138 x 77 mm. The cable length is 280 cm.
