Espa – Pump Union 1.5″ MPT for Espa Spa Pumps

The Espa 10510-464 pump union is a replacement spa pump union for Espa pumps with 65 mm male screw threads on the connection, such as the Wiper0 series. The pipe side takes a 1.5″ MPT thread, so it suits plumbing that uses this thread size. Please note that the o-ring is not supplied and has to be ordered separately.

Compatibility with Espa pumps

This hot tub pump union fits onto Espa pumps whose connection has a 65 mm diameter male screw thread. The Wiper0 series is one example of a pump with this type of connection.

If you are not sure whether your pump has the same thread, measure the connection on the pump before ordering. The pump-side ring of this union has an inner diameter of 63 mm, which is the dimension to compare against your existing union.

Dimensions and pipe connection

The union has two connection sides with different sizes:

• Pipe side: 1.5″ MPT thread, inner diameter of the screw thread 48 mm
• Pump side: ring with an inner diameter of 63 mm, for the 65 mm male thread on the pump

On the pipe side, a part with a 1.5″ MPT thread is screwed into the connection. A fitting such as a 1.5″ MPT ribbed barb hosetail has this thread type, but check that it matches the rest of your plumbing before you order.

How to choose the right union

Spa pumps are supplied with a range of union types, so compare before you buy. Check three things on your old part:

• The pump-side thread: 65 mm male thread on the pump, ring inner diameter 63 mm
• The pipe-side thread: 1.5″ MPT, inner diameter 48 mm
• The Espa reference 10510-464, if it is still readable on your current union or in your records

A different union style, such as a 1.5-inch threaded 3-part union, is a separate product and is not described here as a direct substitute.

What is included and what is sold separately

You receive the pump union only. The o-ring that seals the connection is not included, so make sure you have a suitable one to hand before fitting, particularly if the old o-ring is worn or damaged.
