The Del Ozone 9-0620 is a replacement carbon destruct cartridge for Del Ozone MDV (Mixing Degas Vessel) systems, including the MVD XL, MDV-10, MDV-10-04 and MDV-10-08. It contains Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) that destroys the excess ozone gas removed by the MDV, so ozone bubbles do not return to the water.

What the carbon destruct cartridge does

The MDV system prevents virtually all ozone bubbles from returning to the pool, which eliminates bubble noise and visibility. The GAC in the cartridge destroys the excess ozone gas that the MDV removes from the water.

This allows higher ozone concentrations to be applied. It also helps protect pool components such as covers, fittings and surfaces, and stops bubbles from gathering under the cover or inside the plumbing.
