Balboa – VL240 Spa Topside Control Panel for GS100, GS500Z, GS501Z

The Balboa VL240 is a replacement hot tub control panel (spa topside keypad) with four buttons, supplied under part number G8224 without an overlay. It works with the Balboa GS100 control system, GS500Z, GS501Z and GS511Z spa controls. Unlike the version sold with an overlay (53565), this panel does not include its self-adhesive overlay, so you choose that separately.

VL240 compatibility

This Balboa VL240 spa control panel is designed for the following Balboa control systems:

• GS100
• GS500Z
• GS501Z
• GS511Z

Before ordering, check that your spa is fitted with one of these systems. The VL240 part number G8224 replaces the earlier number 53636.

Buttons and functions

The VL240 keypad has four buttons, one for each main function of the spa:

• Blower
• Jets
• Temperature
• Light

Choosing the right version and overlay

The VL240 is available with or without its self-adhesive overlay. This page covers the version without overlay, G8224. The version with overlay carries Balboa number 53565.

The overlay is bought separately and comes in two forms: the standard Balboa VL240 overlay, or the Balboa VL240 overlay for Dream Maker Spas AquaRest.

Fitting and dimensions

Check that the panel suits your spa cabinet or shell before you fit it:

• Keypad: 135 x 48 mm
• Cut-out area: 95 x 25 mm
• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector: RJ45 plug
