Balboa – Spa Therapy Sequencer for Sequential Massage Systems
The Balboa spa therapy sequencer 54613 is the auxiliary controller at the heart of the Balboa sequential massage system. It opens and closes at least four valves that feed groups of jets, creating the hydromassage sequence you choose. Unlike a keypad, this is the control box itself, so it is the part to replace if the sequencing unit in your hot tub has failed.
Compatibility and retrofitting
Many spa brands have added the Balboa sequential massage system, including Wellis, Hydro Spas and Blue Lagoon, among others. The system can also be retrofitted to a compatible control system.

Sequencer functions and controls
The sequencer is operated from the top side control panel of the system, such as the Balboa sequential massage keypad. From there the user can:
- start or stop the sequence
- choose from nine sequencing programs
- select one of three sequencing speeds
- pause at any point in the current program
