AstralPool – Blank Flange 90 mm for Artic Plus Eco Filter D. 1050–1200

This is the genuine AstralPool blank (blanking) flange for 90 mm connection ports on the Artic Plus Eco sand filter, covering vessel diameters of 1,050 mm and 1,200 mm (parent filter SKU 59890). It is used to seal off any unused 90 mm flange port on the filter body, maintaining system pressure integrity and preventing leaks. Identified as position 18 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram for this filter family.

Compatibility

This blank flange is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Artic Plus Eco Filter in 1,050 mm and 1,200 mm diameters (SKU 59890). The Artic Plus Eco range uses flange-type connections on its large-diameter vessels, and this part caps any 90 mm port that is not connected to pipework. Always cross-reference the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram (position 18) before ordering to confirm fitment.

Why Genuine Matters

The Artic Plus Eco filter operates at up to 2.5 bar working pressure, so a correctly rated, OEM-spec blank flange is essential for safe, leak-free operation. Genuine AstralPool parts are manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original filter, ensuring a reliable pressure-tight seal and long service life — aftermarket alternatives may not match flange face dimensions or pressure ratings.

Installation

Installation involves bolting the blank flange over the unused 90 mm port on the filter vessel, using appropriate gaskets and fasteners rated for the system pressure. It is recommended that a qualified pool technician carries out any work on large-diameter commercial filter vessels. Always depressurise and isolate the filter before removing or fitting flange components.
