AstralPool – Black Plate for Big Discovery Pump (DY550T60)

This is the genuine AstralPool Black Plate (position 20) designed specifically for the Big Discovery pump, model DY550T60. It is a structural pump component that forms part of the pump assembly, maintaining the integrity and correct alignment of internal parts during operation. Replacing a damaged or worn plate with an OEM part ensures the pump continues to perform to its original specification.

Compatibility

This Black Plate is engineered exclusively for the AstralPool Big Discovery pump, reference DY550T60. Always verify your pump’s model number before ordering, as this part is not interchangeable with other AstralPool pump families. The part corresponds to position 20 in the official Fluidra exploded view diagram for the DY550T60.

Why Genuine Matters

Using a genuine AstralPool spare part guarantees exact dimensional fit, material quality, and long-term durability — all critical factors for a component that is integral to pump structure. Non-OEM alternatives may differ in thickness, material, or fixing points, risking premature failure or voiding your pump warranty.

Installation

Refer to the official Fluidra exploded view for the DY550T60 (position 20) to confirm correct orientation and fastening before installation. If you are not confident working on pump internals, we recommend having this part fitted by a qualified pool technician to ensure safety and correct reassembly.
