AquaticAV – Passive 8″ Spa Subwoofer for Hot Tub Audio Systems

The Aquatic AV AQ-SWP8-2 is a passive 8-inch hot tub subwoofer that adds rich, warm bass to an existing spa speaker system. It has no built-in power, so it must be driven by a stereo or an amplifier. The same unit appears under Wellis part number ACM0849.

Compatibility with Aquatic AV speakers and spas

This spa subwoofer is designed to work together with the Aquatic AV 2-inch speaker and the Aquatic AV 3-inch speaker. In that combination it can be found, for example, on some Wellis, Aquavia and Clearwater hot tubs.

If you are replacing an existing subwoofer, compare the part number on your current unit with AQ-SWP8-2 or Wellis ACM0849 before ordering.

The subwoofer reproduces very low frequencies, down to 26 Hz, with high sound pressure, so you hear the full range of your music in the spa.

Connection and amplifier requirement

Because the subwoofer is passive, it needs to be powered by an amplifier. Once it is connected, a wiring harness lets you link up to four speakers to build a complete stereo system around your hot tub.

The subwoofer is fitted with an AMP 4-pin plug. It is rated IPx4 for water resistance and is RoHS compliant.
