ACIS PowerLED DESIGN colour LED lamp – 12 LEDs

This is the genuine OEM colour LED lamp for the ACIS PowerLED DESIGN underwater projector range. Carrying 12 colour LED diodes in a PAR56-format body, it is the light source that sits inside the projector housing and produces the coloured illumination in the pool wall. When the existing lamp dims, flickers, or fails to cycle through colours correctly, this is the component you replace.

What this LED lamp does in the PowerLED DESIGN

The lamp slots into the optical compartment of the PowerLED DESIGN projector recess and connects directly to the low-voltage supply via the projector’s internal wiring. Its 12 discrete colour LED diodes deliver the full-colour output of the fitting. The lamp is the only consumable optical element in the projector assembly — the recess, cable, and cover plate are separate components and are not included.

Always verify your projector’s recess reference against the ACIS parts catalogue before ordering — the white 12-LED variant (reference 64192LC15) and this colour lamp are not interchangeable.

Signs it needs replacing

Replace this lamp when you see one or more of the 12 LED diodes go dark, when the colour output becomes uneven or washed out, or when the projector housing is intact but produces no light. Intermittent operation after a cold start — particularly on a long cable run with ageing connections — is also a strong indicator of lamp degradation rather than a transformer fault; measure the voltage at the lamp terminals before condemning it.

How to install it

Installation must be carried out by a qualified person in accordance with standard NF C 15-100 and local electrical regulations. Switch off and isolate the transformer supply before opening the projector. Always fit a new watertight seal between the lamp and its support at the same time — reusing the old seal risks water ingress that will destroy the new lamp. The PowerLED DESIGN lamp requires a magnetic or toroidal transformer; do not connect it to an electronic transformer as this may prevent operation. Provide a transformer rated at least 10% above the total lamp load.
