Flotide – Winterizing 5 ltr

Supplied in a generous 5-litre format, Flotide Winterizing is a professional-grade liquid pool winteriser formulated to protect pool water throughout the closed season. Applied once at the end of the swimming season — typically when water temperature drops to around 12 °C — it delivers combined algaecide and scale-inhibiting action that keeps the pool in excellent condition right through until spring reopening.

Algae & limescale protection over winter

During the closed season, pool water sits stagnant without regular circulation or filtration, making it vulnerable to algae blooms and limescale deposits on walls and fittings. Flotide Winterizing’s dual bactericidal and algaecidal action suppresses algae growth throughout the off-season, while its scale-inhibiting properties help prevent mineral build-up — reducing the clean-up required when reopening.

Application & dosing

The liquid formulation is poured directly into the pool water before fitting the winter cover, ideally after the pH has been adjusted to the correct range and any residual shock treatment has dissipated. The 5-litre container is well suited to larger private pools or small commercial installations, and gives dealers and installers a practical stock unit for seasonal closing programmes.
