Davey - StarFlo VS Variable Speed Drive Cover - 404219SP

Davey – StarFlo VS Variable Speed Drive Cover

This is the genuine Davey replacement cover for the variable speed drive (VSD) unit on the StarFlo VS pool pump range. It protects the onboard electronics, control circuitry, and digital interface from moisture, debris, and UV exposure — all critical to the reliable operation of the pump’s variable speed system. Typically replaced after physical damage, cracking due to UV degradation, or when the cover seal is no longer intact.

Compatibiliteit

Designed exclusively for the Davey StarFlo VS variable speed pool pump series, including the DSF250VSCE and DSF420VSCE CE models sold across Europe. These pumps are intended for in-ground and above-ground pools up to 104,000 litres, as well as large swim spas and solar heating applications. Always verify your pump’s model number before ordering to ensure an exact fit.

Waarom authenticiteit belangrijk is

The VSD cover is a precision-fit component: a non-genuine or ill-fitting cover can compromise the IP rating of the drive housing, exposing sensitive electronics to water ingress and potentially voiding your pump warranty. Using an authentic Davey part (404219SP) guarantees the correct fit, material grade, and UV resistance specified for the StarFlo VS platform.

Installatie

Replacement of the VSD cover is a straightforward task for a competent pool technician. Ensure the pump is fully isolated from the power supply before removing or fitting the cover. Inspect the cover’s seating and any associated gaskets or clips for wear at the same time. Professional installation is recommended to maintain the pump’s electrical safety rating.
