This is the genuine Maytronics replacement exterior casing (carcasa exterior) for the Dolphin Active series robotic pool cleaner. It forms the complete outer shell of the robot, enclosing and protecting all internal drive and filtration components while defining the robot’s overall shape and structural integrity. Designed as a direct OEM replacement, it restores both the functionality and original appearance of the unit.

Function and design

The exterior casing serves as the primary structural body of the Dolphin Active robot. It incorporates dedicated housings for the filter access covers, the turbine cover, and the cable entry point at the top of the unit — all of which must align precisely for the robot to operate correctly and maintain its watertight integrity during pool cleaning cycles.

Compatible Dolphin models

This casing is compatible with the Dolphin Active Classic, Active X4 (including the Active X4 IoT CB variant), and Active X5 robotic pool cleaners. Always verify your robot’s model designation before ordering, as the Dolphin Zenit series uses a different exterior casing (ref. 99952089-ASSY) and the two are not interchangeable.
