Astralpool – Millennium Sand Filter Housing Tank Ø 560 mm (Side Valve)

This is the genuine Astralpool replacement housing tank body for the Millennium Ø 560 mm side-valve sand filter — the large-capacity blow-moulded vessel that forms the structural core of the filtration system. It is designed for residential swimming pools demanding a flow rate of up to 12,000 l/h and is compatible with both sand and glass filtration media.

As a spare part, this tank body allows pool technicians and owners to restore a damaged or cracked Millennium filter shell to full working order without replacing the entire filter assembly, saving both cost and installation time.

Compatibilitate

This housing tank is designed specifically for the Astralpool Millennium side-valve (lateral) sand filter range at Ø 560 mm. It is suited to residential pools of approximately 75–100 m³ requiring robust filtration. Always verify your existing filter’s diameter and valve configuration (side-mount) before ordering, as Millennium housings are not interchangeable across diameters or between side-mount and top-mount variants.

Construction & Design

The body is manufactured from a single-piece blow-moulded, chemical- and weather-resistant plastic — the same inalterable ivory-coloured material used on new Millennium filters. The one-piece construction eliminates joints that could become leak points, and the material is engineered for permanent outdoor exposure, resisting UV degradation, pool chemicals, and atmospheric agents. The maximum working pressure for the Ø 560 mm model is 2 kg/cm².
