Spa & hot tub
Spare parts for spas and hot tubs
A spa is a small, hard-working system: a heater, a circulation pump, jets and a control pack all packed into a cabinet that sits outdoors through winter and summer. The parts that fail first are rarely the expensive ones. A topside control panel loses segments on its display or stops responding after years of wet hands and UV, and a filter cartridge simply fills up and can no longer hold anything more. Both are replaceable without touching the plumbing, which is why they make up the bulk of what is listed here.
What this range covers
Here you will find topside control panels from the Balboa TP family, intended for spas built around BP200 control systems, along with replacement filter cartridges for MSpa inflatable spas. In practice the selection breaks down as follows:
- Topside panels – TP200T, TP200W, TP240W, TP260T and TP260W, each supplied with its own manufacturer part number such as 57282, 57283, 57371, 57336 and G8426.
- Szűrőpatronok – supplied as a pair with a bayonet fitting and 120 pleats, as used on MSpa inflatable spas.
Part numbers matter more than model names on spa electronics. Two panels can share a family name and still differ in overlay, display layout or connector, so the number printed on the label is the reliable reference.
Choosing the right Balboa topside panel
Start at the control pack, not at the panel. The TP panels listed here are specified for BP200 systems, with the TP200W also noted for BP6013G1, so the first step is to open the equipment bay and read the label on the control box itself. If the pack is a different series, a TP panel from this range is not the right replacement even if the plug appears to fit.
Once the system is confirmed, work through the existing panel:
- Cikkszám – usually printed on a sticker on the rear housing or on the cable tail. Matching this number is the safest route to a like-for-like swap.
- Display and button layout – compare the number of buttons and the arrangement of jets, light, temperature and mode functions against the product images before ordering.
- Cable and connector – note the length of the existing cable run from the panel cut-out to the pack, and check that the plug type matches. A panel that is electrically compatible is still unusable if the lead will not reach.
- Cut-out size – measure the opening in the spa shell or cabinet. Panels in the same family are not always the same footprint, and a smaller replacement will leave a gap.
- Suffix variants – letters such as T and W distinguish versions within the same panel family, so quote the full code rather than just the TP number when comparing.
Filter cartridges and routine servicing
Filter cartridges are the one consumable every spa owner replaces repeatedly. The pleated media traps body oils, lotions, hair and fine debris, and once the pleats are loaded the pump has to work harder, flow across the heater drops and the water turns cloudy no matter how carefully it is dosed. A bayonet-fitting cartridge twists into the suction housing on inflatable spas, so there is nothing to unbolt.
A sensible routine is to rinse the pleats with a hose between the folds every week or two during use, soak them when rinsing alone stops restoring flow, and keep a second pair on hand so one set can dry fully while the other is in service. Pleats that are flattened, split at the end caps or permanently discoloured no longer filter properly and are better replaced. When ordering, check the fitting type and the pleat count against the cartridge being removed, as inflatable spas from different makers use similar diameters with incompatible connections.

Here we list Balboa TP series topside control panels for BP200 systems alongside MSpa bayonet-fit filter cartridges, with the manufacturer part number shown on every item so a replacement can be matched to the one being removed rather than guessed at from a photograph.
The focus is on the parts that genuinely wear: the interface the user touches every day and the cartridge that keeps the water clear. Both can be fitted without draining or re-plumbing a spa, which keeps a working hot tub in service instead of out of action for a season.
