Tangit – Expansion Resin Grey M3000 300 ml

A single 300 ml cartridge of Tangit M3000 yields approximately 1.5 litres of ready-to-use compound — enough to permanently seal pipe and cable penetrations through pool plant-room walls, concrete, and masonry. This two-component polyurethane resin expands to fill voids completely, reaches functional strength in around five minutes, and achieves full mechanical strength within 30 minutes at 20 °C. It is the professional’s choice wherever a fast, durable seal is needed around pool pipework passing through structural walls.

Expansion & sealing performance

Once dispensed, the M3000 expands to roughly seven times its original volume, filling irregular annular gaps around pipes and ducts without any need for prior mixing or preparation. The cured compound is waterproof at 1 bar when used in combination with a Tangit sealing hose, gas-tight at 3 bar, and delivers a tensile strength of up to 30 kN with a torsion resistance of 240 Nm — making it pull-out and torque-proof once set. It is equally effective on damp or wet masonry surfaces, which is important during pool construction and renovation work.

Chemical & thermal resistance

The cured polyurethane foam is resistant to oils, water, and common solvents, and withstands short-term temperatures of up to 650 °C for 30 minutes. Long-term service temperature ranges from –40 °C to +90 °C, covering all realistic plant-room environments. The resin does not shrink after curing, ensuring the seal remains permanent over the lifetime of the installation.

Application & dispensing

The cartridge is designed for use with a Tangit bi-component dispensing gun fitted with the supplied static mixer, which guarantees a precise and consistent mixing ratio without any manual blending. The optimum processing temperature is between +15 °C and +25 °C, with a minimum working temperature of +5 °C. Suitable applications include annular closures around pool return lines, inlet fittings, and equipment-room penetrations in both new-build and renovation projects.
