JTC
JTC makes spa air blowers for hot tubs, including 800W heated and standard models. At PoolParthub.com you will find the JTC SFN and SFN R 800 spa blowers, the parts that drive the air for bubble and massage jets in your spa. Choosing the right replacement part lets you repair your spa instead of replacing the whole unit.
JTC spa blowers for air injection and bubble systems
Here you will find the JTC range of spa air blowers, the units that supply the bubble function on a spa or whirlpool bath. Where a circulation pump moves water through the hydrotherapy jets, a blower moves air: it feeds a separate air channel that either runs to its own set of floor and back bubble outlets, or injects air into the water jets so the massage feels softer and more effervescent. The two models listed on this page are both rated at 800 W, one as a standard blower and one with an integrated heating element.
What an air blower does in a spa
An air blower is a high-volume, low-pressure unit. It is not designed to push water and must never be plumbed into the water side of the system. Air is drawn in through the housing, pushed down a dedicated air line and released through the bubble outlets in the shell. Because a large volume of ambient air passes through the water, a blower that runs for long periods will gradually cool the spa, which is exactly the problem a heated model is intended to reduce.
Typical signs that a blower needs replacing include no air at the outlets while the unit still hums, a noticeable drop in bubble strength, a rising noise level or vibration, or a motor that cuts out after a few minutes of running. In many cases the bearings or the motor winding are at the end of their life and a complete replacement unit is the practical route, since blowers are generally supplied as sealed assemblies rather than as serviceable parts.
The SFN 800 and SFN R 800 models
- SFN 800 spa air blower 800 W — the standard version, for spas where the bubble function is used in short bursts or where the water heater comfortably compensates for the air being introduced.
- SFN R 800 heated spa blower 800 W — the heated variant, which warms the air stream on its way to the spa so that extended use of the bubble function has less effect on water temperature.
Both are listed under their own article numbers, PPS-10482 and PPS-10483, so the standard and heated versions can be told apart at a glance when ordering a like-for-like replacement.
Choosing and fitting the right unit
Before ordering, it helps to note a few details from the blower that is already in place, or from the space it has to occupy:
- Outlet connection — measure the outside diameter of the existing blower outlet and the inside diameter of the air hose or pipe that runs from it, so the new unit can be connected without adapting the pipework.
- Footprint and mounting — check the available height and width in the equipment bay, and how the unit is secured, as blowers are usually mounted on a base or bracket rather than hung from the pipework.
- Stromversorgung — compare the rating of the existing unit and the protection on the circuit; a heated model draws current for the element as well as the motor.
- Position relative to the water line — a blower should sit above the spa water level, with a check valve or a rising loop in the air line, so that water cannot run back into the housing when the unit stops.
- Control — note whether the blower is switched by the spa pack, by a pneumatic air button or by a separate switch, as that determines how the replacement is wired in.
Keeping a blower working
Most blower failures trace back to moisture or to restricted airflow. Keeping the air intake clear of dust, insulation fibres and insect nests makes a real difference, as does making sure the air line stays free of standing water. If condensation collects in the pipework, the loop or check valve arrangement is usually the place to look. Running the bubble function briefly after a spa has been drained and refilled helps clear any water that has found its way into the line.

Here we list the JTC spa blowers that are used as replacements and as original equipment on whirlpool baths and spas, in both the standard and the heated 800 W form. They are catalogued by model name and article number so that an existing unit can be matched without guesswork.
Alongside them, the wider catalogue covers air lines, check valves, air buttons, jets and the pumps and heaters that sit on the water side of the same installation, which makes it straightforward to order the surrounding parts in one go when a bubble system is being renewed rather than simply repaired.
