AquaticAV
AquaticAV makes waterproof audio equipment for hot tubs and spas, including speakers, subwoofers, Bluetooth amplifiers and remote controls. At PoolParthub.com you will find spa speakers, speaker grilles, subwoofers, amplifiers, power supplies, wiring harnesses and RF remotes. With the right part you can repair your spa audio system instead of replacing it.
AquaticAV spa audio: speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers and spares
Audio built into a hot tub has to survive conditions that would finish off ordinary in-car or home speakers: constant humidity, chlorine or bromine vapour, splashes from above and heat rising from the water. AquaticAV builds its components specifically for that environment, and the parts listed here are the ones that most often need replacing or extending on an existing spa – drivers, snap-in grilles, passive and powered subwoofers, Bluetooth amplifiers, power supplies, wiring harnesses and waterproof remote controls.
Here you will find individual components rather than complete tubs, so most visitors arrive with a specific model code taken from the back of a failed speaker or from the spa manufacturer’s parts list. Matching that code, or the physical cut-out it sits in, is the quickest route to the correct item.

The parts fall into a handful of clear groups, and it helps to know which group you are shopping in before comparing items:
- Waterproof and water-resistant speakers – small-diameter drivers such as the SP115 (1 inch), SP326 (2 inch) and the 3-inch SP315 and SP314, supplied either with a grille or as a bare driver for re-use of an existing one.
- Speaker grilles – replacement snap-in covers including the 1-inch silver grey SG101 and the 3-inch black SG302, which suits SP315 and SP304 drivers.
- Subwoofers – passive units such as the compact 5.25-inch AQ-SPKSB-2 and the 8-inch AQ-SWP8-2, plus the combined AQ-SWA8-6BT3 stereo subwoofer system with Bluetooth for spas built without a separate head unit.
- Amplifiers and power – the BlueCube BC310 Bluetooth spa amplifier and the AQ-PSB-1 power supply, which takes a 230 V input and provides 13 V DC to the amplifier through a 4-pin connector.
- Controls and cabling – the AQ-RF-6UBT waterproof RF remote package for 6-series spa stereos and the AQ-UNH-2 wiring harness used across Aquatic AV kits.
Choosing the right speaker and grille
Spa speakers are identified first by diameter and then by mounting style. Measure the hole in the shell, not the grille, because the visible ring is usually wider than the aperture it covers. A 1-inch driver such as the SP115 sits in a very small opening, typically in a headrest or pillow area; 2-inch and 3-inch units are more common in the shell wall or around the footwell.
Drivers are sold both with and without a grille for a reason. If the original cover is intact and still clips home firmly, a bare driver keeps the finish consistent across the tub. If the grille is cracked, corroded or has lost its clips, order the matching cover separately – the SG101 for 1-inch positions and the SG302 where SP315 or SP304 drivers are fitted. Mixing silver and black trim across one spa is the most frequent regret, so check the colour of the surviving speakers before ordering.
Before fitting, check the impedance and power handling printed on the driver against what the amplifier expects. Replacing a single speaker in a stereo pair with a different type can leave the two sides sounding noticeably unequal.
Subwoofers, amplifiers and power supplies
Passive subwoofers such as the AQ-SPKSB-2 and AQ-SWP8-2 contain no electronics of their own and must be driven by an amplifier or head unit with a suitable output. They are normally mounted in the dry equipment bay behind the cabinet panel, where there is room for the enclosure depth. Always confirm the space available behind the chosen location before selecting an 8-inch unit over a compact 5.25-inch one.
Where a spa has no existing audio, a combined approach is simpler: the AQ-SWA8-6BT3 pairs subwoofer and Bluetooth stereo electronics in one assembly, and the BC310 BlueCube provides amplification with Bluetooth input for systems that already have speakers installed. Both need a stable supply, which is where the AQ-PSB-1 comes in, converting mains to the low-voltage DC the amplifier expects. Mains wiring inside a spa should be left to a qualified electrician.
Remotes, harnesses and fault-finding
When sound disappears entirely, the fault is more often in the supply, harness or control than in the drivers. Check the DC output at the amplifier, inspect the AQ-UNH-2 harness connectors for corrosion and verify that the remote is still paired. The AQ-RF-6UBT package restores wireless control for 6-series stereos where the original handset has been lost or water has reached the keypad. If only one channel has gone quiet, suspect a single driver or a pinched speaker cable instead.

Here we list AquaticAV speakers, grilles, subwoofers, amplifiers, power supplies, harnesses and remote controls by model code, so an existing part can be matched directly rather than guessed at. Each listing names the diameter or series it belongs to, which makes it straightforward to pair a driver with its correct grille.
These components are stocked because spa audio tends to fail one piece at a time – a perished grille, a flooded driver, a dead power supply – and replacing that single part is far more sensible than rebuilding a whole system. If you are unsure which item matches your tub, note the code from the rear of the existing component before ordering.
