The HI93703-0 is a 0 FTU (Formazine Turbidity Unit) calibration standard solution designed to calibrate and validate the Hanna Instruments HI93703 portable turbidity meter, which operates over a range of 0 to 1000 FTU. Supplied as a single 30 mL bottle, it provides the zero-point reference required for the HI93703’s three-point calibration routine (0, 10, and 500 FTU). Each bottle is accompanied by a certificate of analysis for full measurement traceability.

Compatibilitat

This standard solution is made specifically for the HI93703 ISO 7027-compliant portable turbidity meter, widely used for pool water quality monitoring, drinking water testing, and wastewater analysis. It forms part of the HI93703 kit calibration set alongside the HI93703-10 (10 FTU) and HI93703-05 (500 FTU) standards. It is not intended for use with other Hanna turbidity meter models.

Hanna turbidity calibration standards are prepared from NIST-traceable primary standard reference materials and produced in a clean room facility. All prepared standards are compared against formazin turbidity reference solutions, and each batch is tested against an AMCO AEPA-1 primary standard — a stabilised suspension of cross-linked styrene divinylbenzene copolymer microbeads in ultrapure water, recognised as a primary standard by the USEPA. The supplied certificate of analysis records the lot number, reference values, and expiration date, ensuring complete traceability for professional and regulatory use.

Instal·lació & ús

Simply pour the solution into the HI93703 cuvette and follow the meter’s on-screen calibration prompts for the 0 FTU calibration point. The solution is reusable and offers long shelf-life stability when stored correctly. Regular calibration with this standard compensates for any drift in the meter’s infrared LED light source and ensures accurate, repeatable turbidity readings.
