AstralPool - Diffuser Assembly for Side Filter D.640 (SPHS640) - CE04300611

AstralPool – Diffuser Assembly for Side Filter D.640 (SPHS640)

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement diffuser assembly for the Side Filter with Yellow Housing, D.520/640, fitted with a 1½” side-mount multiport valve (model SPHS640). The diffuser sits at position 9 in the official Fluidra exploded view and is responsible for evenly distributing incoming water across the filter bed, ensuring efficient and consistent sand filtration.

Jak to działa

During the filtration cycle, pressurised water from the pump enters the filter tank and passes through the diffuser assembly, which spreads the flow uniformly over the filter media. This prevents channelling through the sand or glass media, maximises contact time, and maintains filtration performance across the full diameter of the tank.

Kompatybilność

This diffuser assembly is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Side Filter with Yellow Housing, D.520 and D.640, with 1½” side-mount valve — parent model SPHS640. Always cross-reference the exploded view position (position 9) and your filter’s model code before ordering to ensure a correct fit. It is not interchangeable with other AstralPool filter families.

Dlaczego oryginalność ma znaczenie

Genuine AstralPool parts are engineered and tested to OEM tolerances, ensuring a precise seal and long service life within the filter body. Using non-genuine alternatives risks poor water distribution, premature wear, and potential voiding of any remaining equipment warranty. This assembly is manufactured from durable, chemical-resistant PVC and polypropylene, unaffected by chlorinated or salt water.
