Flotide/MEGA – Low Pressure Switch 0.1–0.3 MPa (Heat Pump A3/32)

This is the genuine Flotide/MEGA replacement low pressure switch for the Plug & Play A3/32 pool heat pump series. Rated at a switching range of 0.1–0.3 MPa, it monitors refrigerant pressure on the suction side of the system and shuts down the compressor automatically if pressure drops below a safe threshold, protecting the unit from serious damage.

Hoe het werkt

The low pressure switch acts as a safety guardian within the heat pump’s refrigerant circuit. When refrigerant pressure on the suction side falls below the preset level — due to a low charge, a leak, or abnormal operating conditions — the switch opens its electrical contacts and stops the compressor. This prevents evaporator freeze-up, refrigerant slugging, and costly compressor failure.
