Running at 230 V single-phase with a rated current draw of just 3.3 A, the DAB EUROSWIM 50MIE2 delivers up to 0.75 HP (nominal output 0.5 kW) to circulate and filter water in small-to-medium residential pools. It connects via reinforced 2″ female threaded ports and self-primes to a depth of up to 2 m without a check valve, making it straightforward to integrate into both new builds and retrofit installations. The IE2 motor efficiency rating keeps running costs in check alongside noise levels as low as 56 dB(A).

Motore e impianto elettrico

The EUROSWIM 50MIE2’s IE2-rated motor is fully enclosed to IP55, with class F insulation and an AISI 316 stainless-steel mechanical seal that isolates the motor shaft entirely from the pumped water. This construction makes it fully compatible with salt-electrolysis chlorination systems as well as conventional chlorine, bromine, or PHMB treatments, protecting the motor from corrosive pool chemistry over the long term.

Priming & hydraulics

As a self-priming centrifugal pump, the EUROSWIM 50MIE2 achieves self-prime from up to 2 m below the water surface without the need for a foot valve. The high-efficiency glass-fibre reinforced technopolymer impeller and diffuser are engineered to handle liquid temperatures up to 60 °C and a pH range of 6.5–8.4, giving confident performance across the full range of pool treatment conditions. Anti-vibration feet further reduce structure-borne noise during continuous filtration cycles.

Prefilter & servicing

A large built-in prefilter with a transparent polycarbonate lid — anti-oxidation rated for long service life — allows the basket condition to be checked at a glance without removing any fittings. The tool-free lid opening reduces routine maintenance time considerably, and the basket capacity on this model accommodates typical debris loads from small-to-medium pools, extending intervals between cleaning. The 2″ female-threaded inlet and outlet accept standard tri-union fittings for quick disconnection during servicing.
