Running on a single-phase 230 V supply, the DAB EUROSWIM 200MIE2 delivers up to 42 m³/h at a maximum head of 18.6 m, powered by a 1.5 kW (2 HP) IE2-rated motor drawing 8.3 A — making it one of the more capable single-phase pool pumps in the residential and semi-commercial class. Its self-priming ability of up to 2 m (without a check valve) simplifies installation where the pump sits above the water level. Both inlet and outlet are 2″ female thread, keeping pipework connections straightforward for European standard plumbing.
Hydraulic performance & pool sizing
With a performance curve that holds 14.1 m of head at 21 m³/h and a maximum rated flow of 42 m³/h, the EUROSWIM 200MIE2 comfortably handles medium to large residential pools — typically from around 60 m³ upwards depending on the filtration system and pipe run lengths. The pump is rated for liquid temperatures up to 60 °C and a pH range of 6.5–8.4, covering all common pool water conditions.
Motor & corrosion resistance
The IE2-efficiency motor carries IP55 protection and Class F insulation, making it suitable for the damp plant-room environments common in European pool installations. An AISI 316 stainless steel mechanical seal means the pump is fully compatible with salt-water electrolysis systems as well as chlorine, bromine, and PHMB treatments. The motor shaft is completely isolated from the pumped liquid, protecting winding integrity over the long term.
Prefilter & hydraulic body
A built-in large-volume prefilter — up to a 6-litre canister with a transparent, tool-free lid — captures hair, leaves, and debris before they reach the impeller, extending service intervals and protecting the hydraulic components. The pump body and impeller are moulded from glass-fibre reinforced technopolymer, combining light weight with high resistance to the oxidising and corrosive agents present in treated pool water. Anti-vibration feet keep noise and transmitted vibration to a minimum during operation.
