With a maximum flow rate of 42 m³/h and a head of up to 22 metres, the DAB EUROSWIM 150 MIE2 is a single-speed, self-priming centrifugal pool pump designed to handle the circulation and filtration demands of medium to large residential pools. Fitted with a IE2-efficiency motor drawing just 6.4 A at 230 V AC, it delivers strong hydraulic performance without unnecessary energy overhead. The 2″ female-threaded connections make it a straightforward swap-in for existing pipework of the same diameter.

Hydraulic performance & self-priming

The EUROSWIM 150 MIE2 can self-prime up to 2 metres without a check valve, reducing pipework complexity during installation. It handles water temperatures up to 60 °C and operates comfortably across a pH range of 6.5–8.4, covering all standard pool treatment chemistries including chlorine, bromine, and PHMB.

Motor & corrosion resistance

The motor is completely isolated from the pumped liquid and carries IP55 protection with Class F insulation — well suited to outdoor plant-room environments. An AISI 316 stainless-steel mechanical seal makes the pump fully compatible with salt-electrolysis chlorination systems, preventing the premature corrosion that affects lesser-grade seals. The wetted hydraulic components are manufactured from glass-fibre-reinforced technopolymer, offering lasting resistance to aggressive pool chemicals.

Prefilter & servicing

A built-in large-capacity prefilter — up to 6 litres — protects the impeller from leaves, hair, and debris, and its transparent polycarbonate lid allows a quick visual check without disturbing pipework. The lid is tool-free to open, keeping routine basket cleaning quick and straightforward for both pool owners and service technicians.
