Water-ID – PoolLab 2.0 Water Leveler

The Water-ID Water Leveler is the accessory that turns a scooped sample into a measured one. After you dip the PoolLab 2.0 straight into the pool, all three chambers of the triple-chamber cuvette are overfilled. Place the Water Leveler on top and it pushes the surplus out, leaving exactly 10 ml in each chamber – the volume the photometer is calibrated for.

Fonctionnalités

The leveler sits in the triple-chamber cuvette of the PoolLab 2.0 and displaces everything above the 10 ml mark. Each of the three compartments holds exactly 10 ml afterwards, so all three readings start from the same volume. It replaces eyeballing the fill line against the moulded 10 ml marks on the cuvette.

Mode d'emploi

Scoop your sample water with the PoolLab 2.0 directly, press the Water Leveler into the cuvette, then lift it off and continue with your tablets as usual. Work on a moisture-resistant surface: the water you push out has to go somewhere, and that is the point of the tool.

Why the exact volume matters

A photometer reads how much light a reagent-coloured sample absorbs, and that reading is only meaningful against a known volume. Too much water dilutes the colour, too little concentrates it, and either way the result drifts without anything looking wrong. Levelling every chamber to the same 10 ml is what keeps one test comparable with the next.

Compatibilité

Made for the Water-ID PoolLab 2.0 and its triple-chamber cuvette. It does not fit the PoolLab 1.0, which uses a different cuvette – check which model you have before ordering. Supplied as a single leveler, sourced from Water-i.d. GmbH, Germany.
