Waterway - Smart Plumb Tee with 3/4 Inch and 3/8 Inch Connections - 413-1850

Waterway – Smart Plumb Tee with 3/4 Inch and 3/8 Inch Connections

The Waterway 413-1850 is a spa plumbing tee with two fittings for 3/4-inch pipe and a third, smaller fitting for a 3/8-inch pipe. It belongs to the Waterway “Smart Plumb” range and is made of ABS plastic. Unlike an equal tee, its third outlet is reduced in size, so it suits hot tub pipework where a smaller branch leaves a 3/4-inch line.

Connections on the Waterway 413-1850 tee

This hot tub tee has three connection points:

• Two smooth fittings that slide inside 3/4-inch pipes.
• One fitting that slides inside a 3/8-inch pipe.

All three fittings go inside the pipe, so the pipe slides over the outside of the fitting. Check that the pipes in your spa match these sizes before ordering this replacement tee.

Dimensions of the tee fittings

The outside diameters are given in millimetres:

• Large fittings: 20 mm outside diameter, for 3/4-inch pipes.
• Outlet fitting: 10 mm outside diameter, for 3/8-inch pipe.

Confused by sizes in inches and millimeters? Use the guide to compare the pipe in your spa with the measurements above.

Which pipe to use with this tee

The tee is designed for 3/4-inch flexible pipe on the two large fittings. We do not recommend connecting it to clear vinyl 3/4-inch pipe. The outer diameter of clear vinyl pipe is slightly smaller than that of a 3/4-inch flexible pipe, so it may not fit the 20 mm fittings properly.

If you are replacing an existing tee, compare the pipe type and the sizes of all three connections before you order.

Wie Sie das richtige Teil auswählen

Look for the part number on your current tee or in your spa documentation. The Waterway part number for this Smart Plumb tee is 413-1850. Remember that it has two 3/4-inch connections and one 3/8-inch connection, so it is not a substitute for a tee with three equal outlets.
