The LX Whirlpool WTC50M (part number WTC50) is a 24-hour hot tub circulation pump, supplied pre-cabled with an AMP plug. It is the only LX Whirlpool pump that runs at half speed, which makes it much quieter than other LX Whirlpool pumps of similar power, such as the JA35 circulation pump.

Compatibility and how to choose the right pump

Do not confuse this replacement pump with the WTC50M-A (part numbers 6500-920 and 6500-910) or the WTC50M-B (6500-067). Those models are made exclusively for Sundance Spas, despite the similar names.

A WTC50M can be fitted in place of a WTC50M-A or WTC50M-B, but not without difficulty. The suction and return fittings are aligned slightly differently, so the plumbing of your hot tub has to be modified, which is rarely easy. Compare the model and part number on your current pump before ordering.

Cable and plug

The pump comes pre-cabled with an AMP plug on a 130 cm cable.

If your installation uses a mini J&J plug, you need an adapter from AMP to mini J&J, sold separately. Alternatively, you can reuse the cable from your existing pump if it is in good condition.

Pump unions and o-rings for 696 pipes are supplied with the pump.
