Supplied in a ready-to-use 0.950-litre container, the Elbe Liquid Liner in anthracite is a colour-matched PVC seam sealant designed to finish and protect the welded joints of Elbe pool liner membranes. At approximately 20 g per linear metre of seam, a single tin covers a substantial run of welding, making it the professional’s choice for new installations and liner renovations in darker-toned pools.

Seam sealing & bond formation

The liquid liner is formulated as a PVC dry-blend dissolved in tetrahydrofuran (THF). Once applied along a weld-seam edge with a capillary bottle, the solvent evaporates on contact with air and the residue cures to form a firm, continuous bond directly with the PVC surface of the liner. This solvent-weld action ensures the sealed joint becomes an integral part of the membrane rather than a surface coating that can peel or delaminate over time.

Colour match & application surface

The anthracite shade is specifically matched to Elbe’s dark-toned pool liner range — including anthracite and pearl-black variants — so treated seams blend invisibly into the finished pool surface. The substrate must be dry, clean, and free from dust and grease before application; no specialist tooling beyond a standard capillary applicator bottle is required, keeping the installation process straightforward for trained pool installers.

Safety & handling

Because the carrier solvent is highly volatile and flammable, the product must be kept away from open flames, hot surfaces, and sources of ignition, and used only in well-ventilated conditions. Appropriate PPE — protective gloves, clothing, and eye protection — should be worn throughout application. The container must be kept tightly sealed when not in use to prevent premature solvent loss and maintain product viscosity.
